Enjoy the spectacular scenery of Hozu Gorge
The trolley train links the 7.3km route between Arashiyama in Kyoto and Kameoka in the suburbs in 25 minutes. It provides a superb paranomic view of Hozu River's ravine including cherry blossoms, fresh green in spring and tinted autumn leaves. A combination with the Hozu river ride which travels 16 km-long stream which takes about 2 hours, is also available.

Thrilling river-rafting through Yoshino River
At the Oboke and Koboke valleys at the upper reaches of Yoshino River, you can enjoy river-rafting on a rubber boat. The course goes through one of the strongest currents in Japan, and is full of thrills, as you get splashed by huge sprays in a plunge of at least 2 meters. As there is a guide for every course, even beginners can feel safe to take on a challenge. There are also pleasure boats operating nearby and many hot spring spas.
