Akashi Kaikyo Bridge
The world's longest suspension bridge that links Kobe and Awaji Island
The Akashi Kaikyo Bridge, approximately 3,911 m long, linking Kobe with Awaji Island, has the world longest center span which is 1,991 m long. It is also known as Pearl Bridge for its beautiful appearance when the huge suspension bridge is lit up on the strait. Under the bridge, there runs Maiko Promenade where you can enjoy the beautiful sight of inland sea of Seto.

Night view from Mt. Rokko
Famous for the "Million Dollar Nightscape"
Mt. Rokko consists of a series of mountains from 600 to 931 m high sitting at the north of Kobe's urban district. Recommended viewing spots are 'Tenrandai' near Rokko Sanjo Stn. of Rokko cable Line, 'Rokko garden terrace', 'Hachimaki Observatory deck' in Omote-Rokko drive way where '10 million dollar views' can be enjoyed. The view from observatory deck 'Kikuseidai', near the top of Mt. Maya extends to Osaka as well.

Expo Park
The park where the Tower of the Sun rises
This park was developed to utilize the land after Japan World Exposition held in 1970. With Tower of the Sun as its symbol, the park has a variety of facilities. These include Shizen bunkaen garden and Japanese garden where all kinds of seasonal greenery and flowers can be enjoyed, as well as cultural facilities including National Museum of Ethnology, Japan Folk Crafts Museum, and International Institute for Children's Literature, and sport facilities such as Expo Memory Stadium, and leisure facilities including Expo Land.

Amanohashidate
One of Japan's greatest landscapes with beautiful white sands and pine trees
One of Japan's 3 greatest landscapes situated in the north of Kyoto Prefecture. The contrast created by the 40m to 120m wide 3.6km long white sands and the lusciously green rows of pine trees is superb. It is nature's artwork created by the sands of the Sea of Japan carried out into the depth of the bay by the winds and waves, and swept away by River Noda in the mountains. There is also cycling and hot spring spa to be enjoyed.

Uzuno-michi Promenade
Commanding view of the dynamic whirlpool and Naruto Straits
Elevated 45m above sea level, the 450m promenade was built underneath the Onaruto Bridge. Visitors can enjoy the dynamic whirlpools and the rapid current of Naruto Straits, as well as the wonderful landscape of Setonaika National Park.
