Osaka Aquarium 'Kaiyukan'
The world's largest aquarium
Kaiyukan is one of the world's largest aquariums which features a large tank designed to reproduce the environment of the Pacific Ocean letting the world's largest fish, the whale shark swim freely. The tank is surrounded by 14 other tanks reproducing 10 areas throughout the world. Including 'Aqua Gate' where fish swim through and a world of transparent life 'Floaty Jellyfish Museum', the aquarium keeps and displays about 30,000 aquatic animals of 580 species. It is enjoyable for both kids and adults alike.

The Floating Garden Observatory
Commanding view of the Osaka Plains from 170m above ground
The building has an aerial garden observatory, about 170m above the ground, which offers a 360-degree panoramic view from Osaka city to Awaji Island. There is a gourmet town 'Takimi-koji' which is a reconstruction of Osaka's olden alleys. There is HEP FIVE nearby, popular for its bright red giant Ferris wheel.

Osaka Tenmangu Shrine
Tenjin Festival in the summer is one of Japan's 3 great festivals
Dedicated to the God of learning, Lord Michizane Sugawara, the shrine is fondly known by many as "Tenman no Tenjin-san", and is revered by many including students preparing for exams. The summer's Tenjin Festival is one of Japan's 3 great festivals with a history and tradition of almost 1,000 years, and is visited by over 1 million people each year. The approach to the shrine is Tenjinbashi Suji Shotengai; Japan's longest shopping street.

The Museum of Oriental Ceramics, Osaka
Exhibiting world class oriental ceramics
The museum currently houses approximately 2,700 pieces of Chinese and Korean ceramics from the Ataka Collection. The collection of oriental ceramics including two national treasures and 13 important cultural assets, leads the world in quality. Osaka Castle Museum
Osaka's symbol that continues to be loved by its citizens
Osaka Castle Museum has become more beautiful and easier for tourists to look around since the Heisei large-scale repairs in 1997. There is a historical exhibition inside the castle, and the top floor is an observatory. The Osaka Castle Park that spreads across as if to embrace the Main Tower is famous for its seasonal blooms. Nearby is the Japan Mint, famous for its cherry blossoms and you can also enjoy a river cruise on the waterbus "Aqua Liner".
