Sake Breweries in Nada
Japan's No.1 home of Sake that has been known since the old days
Nada go gou, or five areas in the Nada district have been called the best sake brewing area in Japan. Nishi-gou, Mikage-gou, and Uozaki-gou in Kobe city are lumped together as San-gou, while Nishinomiya-gou and Imazu-gou in Nishinomiya city are called as Ni-gou. In the San-gou area in Kobe city, you can not only visit reference libraries and museums of Sake brewing, but also enjoy Sake tasting in some of the breweries.

Night view from Mt. Rokko
Famous for the "Million Dollar Nightscape"
Mt. Rokko consists of a series of mountains from 600 to 931 m high sitting at the north of Kobe's urban district. Recommended viewing spots are 'Tenrandai' near Rokko Sanjo Stn. of Rokko cable Line, 'Rokko garden terrace', 'Hachimaki Observatory deck' in Omote-Rokko drive way where '10 million dollar views' can be enjoyed. The view from observatory deck 'Kikuseidai', near the top of Mt. Maya extends to Osaka as well.

Arima Spa
The spa reputed to be the oldest in Japan
Originated in mythical times, Arima Spa is one of Japan's oldest hot springs and one of Japan's best 3 springs for its long its long history and the quality of its spring water. There are two types of spring water; the copper colored "Kinsen" that contains a lot of iron and salt, and the colorless carbonated "Ginsen" that contains radium. It is said that soaking in the springs alternately cures all ills. It has been said that any type of disease is able to be cured when soaked alternately in the two kinds of spring water.

Takarazuka Grand Theater
Opulent stage performed by all women cast
Takarazuka Revue Company is rare in the world in that it stages songs, dance and plays from classical to contemporary performed by all-women casts. The Theater for Takarazuka was created in 1924. It houses 2,550 seats, which have been set to allow every seat a good view of the stage. Nearby is the Osamu Tezuka Manga Museum, dedicated to the world renowned cartoonist, Tezuka, who was associated with Takarazuka.

Kinosaki Spa
An attractive spa town with a long history
The 1400 year-old Kinosaki is a renowned spa that has been loved by many luminaries. The "Sotoyu Meguri" in which you tour the seven bath houses outside the ryokans, clicking your Geta heels dressed in traditional Yukata, is a pleasure unique to Kinosaki Spa. Nearby, you will find the tourist resort of "Izushi-machi" known for its picturesque castletown and Soba noodles.
