About this Site
This website, operated by the Organization of Kansai Unity and the Kansai International Tourism Promotion Center, provides information about sightseeing in Japan/Kansai. Our focus is to clearly convey main attractions of Japan/Kansai by making full use of moving images as well as letters and still images. In addition, this site is designed not only to make you “feel like visiting” Japan/Kansai, but also to give you abundant information required to “actually make a trip” to Japan/Kansai. This site features a comprehensive view of a wide variety of contents about sightseeing in Japan/Kansai. We all sincerely hope that you take time to see and know about Japan/Kansai, and visit Kansai.
Organization of Kansai Unity / Kansai International Tourism Promotion Center
Established in July 2007 by ten prefectural governments and four ordinance-designated cities in Kansai as well as seven economic organizations with the purpose that Kansai can develop to become self-reliant as a region with vitality and attractions through promotional activities for even stronger wide-area cooperation and decentralization reform. The Kansai International Tourism Promotion Center, established as a project promotion organization within the Organization of Kansai Unity, has an objective to attract tourist from overseas to Kansai and to promote international tourism in Kansai effectively and strategically by precisely identifying the needs of foreign tourists.
