◇Winter Illumination at Nabana no Sato—“Combination of Natural Beauty and winkling Lights” (Mie Prefecture)

◇Kobe Gaslight Street Illumination (Hyogo Prefecture)
This illumination is Kobe Harborland’s annual winter signature event. Zelkova trees lining the 350-meter street are lit up with about 80,000 light bulbs. You can also enjoy the moment called “Harbor Wink” when the darkness surrounding you turns into bright light—all the lights are turned off at 19:59, 20:59 and 21:59 and then suddenly turned on again at 20:00, 21:00 and 22:00.

Winter Season Information—Onsen Hot Spring Resorts in Wakayama Prefecture
Enjoy soaking in a vast open-air bath called sennin-buro at Kawayu Onsen resort, a highlight of the winter season in the area.
